Trishalan Designs is an Australian owned and operated business specialising in Hand Dyed Fabric, Hand Dyed Threads, Kumihimo Supplies and Needlework Designs.

All products are designed and made at their Studio and Retail Outlet at Old Petrie Town, Petrie Qld Australia.

Trish Goodfield, together with her husband Alan Jackson, started TrishAlan Designs in 2002.

Trish writes a weekly art/craft column for The Messenger magazine.

Trish is Brisbane Radio 4BC's Art and Craft Expert. Listen Sunday afternoons.

Trish's love of stitching led them to hand dyeing their own range of threads.

TrishAlan Designs also has an exclusive range of hand dyed fabrics. Their Eco Dyeing method was developed as an answer to severe water restrictions. They use much less water than traditional dyeing methods. They don't use string, rubber bands or stitching. When dyeing their 3 packs of Fat Quarters TrishAlan Designs only uses 3/4 cup of water in total.
